1. When did the search first start?
The Search first start in Mid December 2007 launch at Kelana Jaya.

2. Will there be prizes to the winners?
Several valuable prizes will be available. A special prize will be awarded to the overall winner known as the “Queen” of 1000wajah” with two other runners up. Besides these, there will also be several consolation prizes to be given to four other age group categories as below :-
Ages Winners
• 18 – 25 a) the first 10 “Princess”
• 26 – 34 b) the first 5 photogenic faces
• 35 – 44 c) the first 5 Mona Lisa look
• 45 – 50 d) the first 5 Captivating look

3. Do participants have to pay in this Search?
The participations is FREE.

5. What safeguards/measure are provided for to ensure privacy of participants photos, data etc?
Participants photos in our website cannot be saved or be single-viewed by any browser. Only registered user can view any photo and comment. This procedure provides safeguards/measures to protect participants’ photos etc. Since the protection of our participants photos etc is our prime responsibility, 1000wajah will continue to update such safeguards/measures where relevant and necessary from time to time.

4. Who can participate?
Any Malaysian female (of any race ) between the ages of 18 – 50 can participate. To participate the participant has to register online on our web or come to the office/studio. Participation is free.

6. How can anyone participate in the Search?

7. Who are the judges in determining the best 1000 faces and the other finalists?

Judges for the 1000wajah will be females from the beauty industry and from some academic institutions who have a flair and liking for beautiful faces. They will however, be guided by certain specific criteria as mentioned in item 8 above, commonly used by internationally applied principles so as to minimize subjective inclination. Accordingly scrutineers too, would be appointed as is normally done in most contests to ensure justice and fairness in the final selection process. The judge’s decision will of course be conclusive and final.
